I’m happy to announce the launch of my new San Diego acupuncture website. If you’re tired of the side effects from prescription drugs, please visit my website to learn more about a natural and safe alternative. Here’s a little bit about who I am…
My father served in the Air Force and the U.S. Embassy, so I grew up traveling all over the world with my family. I was an Electronics Engineer on a Fast Attack Nuclear Submarine during my six years serving in the U.S. Navy, and I am a decorated veteran. I served in a patrol in the waters beneath the Arctic Circle and in Desert Storm.
I am now a therapist in San Diego practicing acupuncture. I am California board certified and licensed. I have a Masters of Science degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2008.
At this time, I am a Doctoral Fellow at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine specializing in Family Medicine (Mental Health, Orthopedics, Neurology, Women’s Health, Preventive Medicine and Pediatrics) and a board certified neurotherapist since 1996. I was previously employed for five years by a large neuropsychological practice, where I worked with many children and adults with a variety of neurophysiological disorders. Attention Disorders, Autism, Seizure Disorders and many other medication resistant conditions are my specialties.
Among my current projects is the completion of my capstone in internal medicine to analyze the benefits of internal preventative medicine as applied to the cardiovascular and circulatory systems. For those vascular issues ranging from cardiovascular disease to vascular dementia, this will have a huge influence.
My focus on integrating Traditional Chinese Medicine, Western Medicine and other holistic therapies uniquely achieves the most suitable and beneficial protocol for patients. I hope to craft an effective, preventative based health care option by furthering the integration of Eastern, Western, and Holistic Medicine.
Geriatrics and internal medicine, female disorders, mental disorders, neuropsychological issues, pediatric and adult general practice, internal medicine, medical issues affecting seniors, and musculo-skeletal problems are my specialty interests.
I currently work with Wind Gate Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine, which is a private, combined practice in San Diego, Ca. This practice offers a total healing package that combines Neurofeedback, Nutrition, Clinical Hypnotherapy, Internal Medicine, Sound Therapy, and Chinese Medicine.
My membership with the California State Oriental Medical Association (CSOMA) is current.
