Be aware of any toxic substances in your home
Mold, dust mites, and toxic leftovers can be emitted by paint and old carpets affecting your family and your home. Use natural-based cleaning supplies and products as much as possible. Not only will this keep you and your family safe, it will also help save the ecosystem.
The walls, floors, and corners of your home may be enclosed with psychic debris left by previous owners
This effect can also apply to the beds and furniture of your home. Your health can be affected by any lower energies in your home as a result of any kind of abuse from previous owners. To create a fresh start and new health in your home, replace old beds and mattresses. Hire an experienced space clearer to eliminate toxic space.
Vacuum your home to clean up negative chi
Use a high-quality vacuum to get a room or energized or to clean up negative chi. This is highly recommended when you’re expecting visitors. However, it’s important to note that a lot of vacuums have the tendency to spit dirt out again after breaking it into smaller particles.

Keep the air in your home always fresh and healthy
Keeping air circulating by opening windows or installing air filters in areas where allergies or unhealthy air are a problem. This can help promote a healthy environment and positive chi in your home.
Keep electronic and electrical devices away from your bed
Keep electric devices such as radios, phones, and clocks away from your bed. These things can absorb chi and decrease the natural resistance of your body so it’s best to keep them at least two to three feet away from your body. When using an electric blanket, it’s important to power it off when you’re about to go to sleep at night.
Don’t sleep in a room with heavy beams or sharp corners
This is especially true if they’re pointing at you while you’re sitting at your favorite chair, at the table, or sleeping on a bed directly over it. In Feng Shui, they are known as “poison arrows” and there are various ways to fix them. If you’re not able to move the pointed object, place a brass bell, crystal ball, simply a plant to distract or soften the negative chi. You can also wrap the beams in live or silk vines. If the paint color of the ceiling and beams are the same, they may have a lesser effect than if they’re not painted with the same color.
Spiral staircases tend to attract negative chi
The corkscrew shape of these staircases produces an energy that tends to go downward. However, their effects can be neutralized by putting under the stairwell a big potted plant to catch the energy and bring it upward. To bring energy upwards, place another plant at the top of the stairs. Around the handrail, wrap a green silk vine starting from the bottom and ending at the top. As you walk up the stairs, visualize the color green’s healing energy entering your body. At the top of the staircase, hang a crystal ball and then visualize positive chi energizing and uplifting the entire stairway.
Enhance vibrant energy by putting plants in your home
First of all, the plants should be lush, vibrantly green, and healthy. Avoid cactus, spider plants, and other spiky plants. Mulberry, willows, and other weeping plants can create depression, especially when they are placed in the front yard. The greatest effect of healthy plants is in the bedroom as it is where you spend most your time regenerating and resting.
A washing machine and even a bathroom can create negative chi in your home
When you’re not using them, keep shower and sink drains closed. Keep washer/toilet lid shut and the door of your bathroom closed. Outside the door of the bathroom, place a mirror to reflect the energy or chi back into the house.
Concentrate on the center of your home
In Feng Shui, the center of your home is connected with the element of earth. If the center of your home has a closet, be sure it is kept tidy, is in good working condition, and everything in the closet is being used. Your health energy can be strengthened by placing objects that represent the earth in the center of your home. Use earthy colors such as yellows, golds, browns, and by placing terra cotta, sculptures, pottery, granite, and healthy plants in large pots.
Maintain a clean home
Clutter and dirt keep you stuck in a lower vibrational field. You feel heavy when you’re in a lower vibration and this can lead to depression, and disease. When you allow your home to get extremely dirty, it may feel quite a bit challenging to clean it. You get dragged down by the psychic debris which makes it very hard to move forward.
